Green Orchid Beauty Care was founded by Ratana Peou in 2018 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

My Story

I love plants: their growth, their beauty, their scent. I could spend hours reading about and discussing their benefits to our health, body, and the world around us.

At a younger age, I was blessed with healthy skin and was able to enjoy variety of skin care products. But, when I reached my mid 40’s, things started to change dramatically. My skin started becoming more sensitive and I began to have severe reactions to these products. I needed to make a change.

I decided to research natural ingredients that could help my skin and it was at this time that I discovered so many amazing plants and the incredible things that they could do.

My enthusiasm quickly turned into passion and I knew what I had to do. I enrolled at an organic beauty school while continuing my constant research, adjusting formulas and performing hundreds of trials. I started providing samples to family and friends, gathering feedback and confidence in my craft. They shared with me that they love the feels and how it improves their skin. Trials can take 9-12 months to get results just right but it’s well worth the wait. Thanks to the power of botanical ingredients!

I admire the orchid, often called “the queen of flowers.” They are not only beautiful, but are also ageless, long-lasting flowers. So, in 2020, I successfully created the “Green Orchid Beauty Care” brand.  The products are 100% hand-crafted with certified Organic, Ecocert / Cosmos approved, sustainable ingredients free of paraben, phthalate and any other ingredients that may be potentially harmful to our health and the environment.
